Wynn Resorts has confirmed that it has been awarded the UAE’s first commercial gaming license, a significant milestone for the region.

The company announced that this license, issued by the UAE’s General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA), allows it to operate a casino at its upcoming Wynn Al Marjan Island resort in Ras Al Khaimah.

This luxury resort, expected to open in 2027, will be the first integrated gaming destination in the Middle East, featuring over 1,500 rooms, a gaming floor, various dining and entertainment venues, and beachfront villas.

While Wynn Resorts has publicly acknowledged the issuance of the license, a recent check of the GCGRA website revealed no additional details regarding this development.
