The event, scheduled for January 25th next year at The Atlantis, Royal, will begin at 9 AM and is poised to draw some of the most influential figures in the casino industry from Las Vegas and Macau.
Leading the impressive roster of speakers is Debra Nutton, a highly respected figure with a rich history at renowned establishments like MGM, Bellagio, and Wynn Resorts. Nutton, arriving from Las Vegas, is slated to present a keynote addressing the industry’s challenges and opportunities, while also shedding light on crucial innovations and best practices.
Joining her is Alex Dixon, the distinguished President and CEO of Q Casino and DRA. He plans to delve into the financial nuances of the gaming world, discussing investment strategies for prospective operators and the broader economic benefits for communities.
This year, the UAE marked a significant milestone with the establishment of its first gaming regulatory body, the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA). Regulatory frameworks are anticipated to be a focal point for industry growth discussions.
Antonio Lobo Vilela, a globally acclaimed gaming lawyer from Macau, will offer his expertise at the event. Vilela, a former senior legal advisor to the Macau Gaming Commission, played a crucial role in launching the region’s first gaming concessions. His presentation will cover effective regulatory practices and global gaming regulation trends.
A special segment of the conference will be dedicated to technological innovations, particularly in the burgeoning Web 3.0 domain. The UAE, and Dubai in particular, is at the forefront of this sector, with ambitions to become a leading metaverse development hub. A key player, metaverse-centric Megavrse, will demonstrate how virtual gaming experiences can revolutionize the industry both regionally and globally.
More esteemed speakers are expected to be announced soon, adding to the anticipation for this landmark gaming conference.
